Coca Codo Sinclair Hydropower Station

The total investment of Coca Codo Sinclair hydropower station (CCS) is 2 billion U.S. dollars. It is the largest foreign investment in Ecuador history, and currently the largest hydropower project in the country. The total installed capacity will reach 1,500 MW, annual generation capacity will be 8.8 billion kWh, be able to meet 75% of the country's demand for electricity. CCS will become the country's largest hydro-electric power base, the proportion of the country's hydroelectricity will increased from the current 44% to 95%. YREC undertakes the designing and consulting work of this project.
